Summer 2019 Newsletter

What a lovely summer we’ve had and as well as weddings there were lots of other things going on at Midelney!

Wedding Open Day

Our open day was a great success with a beautiful marquee in the garden and lots of lovely suppliers which our brides to be could chat to.  The Schmoozenbergs came along and played some lovely gypsy jazz in the tent and Sophie Magill provided some delicious canapes.  It was a lovely afternoon and we’ll be doing it all over again next year, so if you know anyone getting married and looking for the perfect venue, you know where to send them!

Sense & Sensibility

Well the Pantaloons did it again and provided us all with much hilarity with their interpretation of Sense and Sensibility in the Round Garden.  The weather held (unbelievably!) and much fun was had by all!  Don’t worry they’ll be back next June!

Gin & Gypsy Jazz

A wonderful night had by all in the Potting Shed with some very Eastern European Gypsy Jazz music, fabulous cocktails (Summer Garden was my favourite) delicious G&T’s and mouth-wateringly good Moroccan street food from Graze and Wonder.
