Midelney Manor offers a truly personal wedding experience. Owned and lived in by Alice, her husband Jeremy and their three children, it’s been in the family for 500 years. They only do up to ten weddings per summer from May through to September. This means that every wedding is completely unique and bespoke. Alice wants it to feel like a home from home for you for your wedding weekend . She is on hand throughout the process offering her advice and help wherever possible. She is also here on the day making sure everything runs smoothly from welcoming your guests upon arrival to making you a delicious Espresso Martini at the bar in the evening!
This unique Somerset wedding venue lies in the heart of the countryside. A romantic Elizabethan Manor House surrounded by beautiful gardens and weathered stone walls. A wonderful rustic barn sits in the middle of the gardens with a magical woodland glade also available for ceremonies.
It’s the perfect place for any celebration, from a traditional English Country Wedding to a delightful anniversary lunch or summer garden party! A truly unique venue!

Alice and Jeremy live at Midelney with their three teenagers and a wonky Jack Russell dog called Hattie! Midelney has been in Alice's family for 500 years and she grew up here as a child. She moved back to Somerset with her family 15 years ago and started doing weddings in 2017. She really wanted to make the whole experience really personal and unique which is why they only do ten weddings per summer which means every wedding is completely bespoke!
